ICD-Rotman DEP Diversity Scholarship Details

The ICD-Rotman DEP Diversity Scholarship aims to facilitate the development of diverse representation in boardrooms across all sectors of the Canadian economy by providing access to governance education, to advance and strengthen directors' contributions to Canada's boardrooms and beyond. The scholarship is made possible with the support of the Rotman School of Management and the ICD’s national network of business school partners.

Consideration for the DEP Diversity Scholarship is contingent on the eligibility criteria outlined below:

1. Admission to the DEP

  • All DEP applications are reviewed by the DEP Admissions Committee. Scholarship-specific information is not shared with this committee, nor are scholarship applicants identified, to ensure candidate privacy.
  • Scholarship applicants that meet the admissions criteria for the DEP will proceed to a secondary and separate review by the Scholarship Review Committee, based on the criteria below.

2. Attestation of Financial Need

3. Self-identification as:

  • Women
  • Indigenous Peoples
  • Persons with visible or invisible/episodic disabilities
  • Members of racialized communities
  • Those identifying as from the 2SLGBTQI+ communities

Note: consideration will be given to the intersectionality of the criteria in Section 3.
